What you’ll be doing

You will take charge of subscriptions on tenders and requests of proposals. Often on multiple tenders simultaneously. For every project, you compose a new team, with the highest quality in mind. In line with, one of our - and your - core values: ‘never stop improving’. You make schedules, ensure everyone is on the same page, and make sure deadlines are met. With your political insights and communicative skills, you will effortlessly collect information throughout the organisation and manage expectations.

As Bid Manager you are responsible for guiding the tendering process. You are able to make connections between the customers’ demands and the already achieved best practices. You have an important role in determining the substance of the bid, its construction, structure, and as a counter reader. Therefore, it is a plus if you can help write the bid when necessary.

You are the functional manager of a bid team and responsible for determining the planning, meeting the deadlines, and monitoring the process. When the quality, procedures or deadlines are under pressure, the bid manager calls the colleagues to account. In this, you are the point of contact for management and the executive board.

You also have an essential role in pre-sales, a crucial phase prior to the tender process and contributory to the final tender. From this role, you will provide advice to clients regarding solution approaches that fit the customer’s demand. You are up to date with sector-specific developments and have a pioneering role in developments within the field. In addition, you will contribute to the central collection, assurance, and the propagating of lessons learned and best practices within Studytube.

In this job, you will be part of a team of 23 enthusiastic colleagues with a passion for commercial growth. Bid management is part of the Sales Operations department and is the centre of knowledge of the sales organisation in the area of bid management, contract management, and commercial best practices.

Job requirements

Who you are

  • Experienced in communicating clearly with stakeholders within the organisation;

  • Hbo level and a minimum of four years of commercial and/or project experience;

  • Driven, stubborn and not afraid to shatter taboos;

  • A result-oriented connector which is not afraid to make decisions;

  • Able to stay calm under time pressure;

  • Easily builds a valuable network;

  • Knowledge of legal matters is a pre.
