We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Platform (DevOps, Integration) teams in taking our learning platform to the next level.

In this role, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and guide the DevOps and Integration teams to ensure collaboration, alignment, and a shared focus on achieving our technical and business goals.

• Provide technical leadership, hands-on guidance, and support when needed, ensuring high quality standards (security, reliability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency) are maintained across the teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, robust infrastructure and data solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering leadership to define and prioritize the team's (technical) roadmap.

• Track key metrics related to engineering productivity and report on progress and impact.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring your teams proactively monitor system health, security, and performance, and react quickly to potential issues.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in technical roles, with at least 3 years managing engineering teams, including DevOps, integration, and/or data teams.
• Proven experience in owning (successful) projects from beginning to end.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure, IaC and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of cloud security principles and a track record of implementing best practices (DevSecOps).
• Solid knowledge of system monitoring and performance management, with experience in optimizing infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their best.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of our tech stack: Ruby/RoR, Grape, Python
• Previous scale-up and/or SaaS experience
• Familiarity with MLOps practices.
